„By bike to the underground? Cracow Transportation Policy after the referendum” – debate.

On the 25th of May the Cracow citizens have expressed their support for building the underground and bicycle routes in the city. How does it influence the city investment plans regarding transportation? Together, we are going to debate on possible changes in the transportation policy, including when, where and if at all we are going to be using the underground in Cracow; and how many kilometers of bicycle routes are needed in our city and when are they going to be built.

We have biked over 1200 km between Bergen and Trondheim; have been taken aback by picturesque passes; have biked through high mountains and at the seaside; have slept under majestic glaciers and captivating fiords... it is a story about how to organize a bicycle trip of a lifetime...
Wawel2Wolin. How to bike across Poland with the two-year-old. (Ola, Zbych, Kajtek Gałęza)
6 wheels, 6 bike travelling bags and 3 weeks. This is enough to bike from Cracow to Boruszyna, bike at the Baltic seaside and around the Bay of Szczecin. We did not rush, cause no one was chasing us. We biked over 1000 km and another 1000 on a train to find out that hydrants are nice, and that you do not drink you evening beer for the pleasure only...

„You cannot buy happiness, but you can buy a bike, and it is pretty close” – such was the slogan for the art competition for children, that collected 81 works. The awards giving ceremony will be accompanied by the concert of the Bartłomiej Nowodworski High School’s Choir.
Culture Centre Przegorzały is the author and organizer of the competition.

The Great Bicycle Ride

The Great Bicycle Ride is the culmination of the Cycle Fest. Last year there had been over 3.5 thousands of us! We do invite all cyclists, regardless of sex or gender, cycling skills, age or a bicycle type. Safety will be guaranteed by the police escort, event protection personnel and medical staff.
The purpose of our Ride is to celebrate the freedom of moving around on two wheels and to show that Cracow can indeed become a truly bicycle city. We start at high noon and we will cycle the streets of Cracow to the Cycle Fest Final location - Polish Aviation Museum.
